Digimon Cyber Sleuth Hacker Memory Game Introduction

Backdrop to Digimon Series

Digimon focuses on the eponymous creatures, who inhabit a "Digital World", a parallel universe that originated from Earth's various communication networks.

The franchise was created in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, intended as the masculine counterpart to Tamagotchi. The creatures were first designed to look cute and iconic even on the devices' small screens; later developments had them created with a harder-edged style influenced by American comics. The franchise gained momentum with an early video game, Digimon World, released only Japan in January 1999. Several anime series and films including its first anime incarnation, Digimon Adventure, which based on both video game and digital pet have been released, and the video game series has expanded into genres such as role-playing, racing, fighting, and MMORPGs.

GameHertz Editor Point of View on Digimon Series

GameHertz Editor noted that Digimon games are not based on the story from the anime series and has a story of its own for each of the game. The concept of digimons living in parallel world based off the digital data world created are consistent with the anime, players can expect playing through original stories of new protagonist. There are many digimons and the battle system is based on the traditional turn based digimon game. Overall digimon games has good stories and its fun to go into the parallel world of digimons just like the anime series.

GameHertz Editor recommend Digimons Series to players that have watched the Digimon Anime and also to gamers that are into adorable Anime JRPG pet games.
